What Promised Land Stables is all about

Promised Land Stables has been a dream of mine for many years. I learned how to ride around the same time I learned to walk. Horses have always been a major part of my life. Through years of 4H, showing English, Western, Trail class, as well as Endurance Racing and some Dressage; I had a wholesome background in all that is good about horses. I spent the next 20+ years in the Thoroughbred horse racing industry - grooming horses, exercising them in the morning, and riding races as a jockey for 8 of those years. This new chapter in my life has finally given me the opportunity to have the horse farm I always dreamed, and prayed for. Nathan and I recently got married and we are  thrilled to be able to share our knowledge and love of horses with others! He is also a retired jockey and currently exercise rides at Churchill Downs. We are excited to join our skills and passion for horses and be able to train, break, and care for a variety of horses and clientele.  With a strong Christian foundation Promised Land offers more than just horseback riding or training - it’s a family, a community, and a display of God’s beautiful creation!
